Nothing sits in a fridge waiting. Your message comes in, the rice goes on, and the roll is cut about an hour before you collect it.

Three sizes. The bigger the platter, the more rolls you get to pick.
The menu
Fourteen rolls. Every platter is made from the ones you tick. Tags show what the ingredients tell us; tell Megumi about any allergy when you order and she will work around it.

Deep-fried rolls
Panko-crumbed and fried whole, then cut. Crunchy outside, warm inside.

Or just say surprise me
Omakase means "I'll leave it to you". Pick a platter size, skip the menu, and Megumi builds it the way she would for her own table. Usually a mix of what's best that week and one thing you would not have picked yourself.

I have been making sushi for eight years, and I was a sushi chef before I was a home kitchen.
Now I roll everything to order from my house in Salford, Thursday to Sunday, and you collect it from my door. Nothing is made ahead. When your message comes in, I start cooking the rice. That is why it tastes the way it does.
The business is fully registered with a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating, and everything I make is halal.

Not a person to leave a review but wooooow. I've eaten sushi from Chinatown to high-end places in Manchester. Megumi homemade sushi blows the rest out the park. Very clean, very tasty, and a woman who has a great passion for sushi.
Drop Megumi a DM and she will make you the most beautiful sushi platter you have ever seen. Each one was delicious and beautifully presented. Perfect for date night, girls night in or even a party.

The practical bit
- How do I order?
- Build your platter on this page, then send it as an Instagram DM to @megumi.mcr or on WhatsApp to 07983 735797. She replies to confirm.
- When can I collect?
- Thursday to Sunday. Other days are sometimes possible, so ask when you order and she will tell you straight.
- Where is pick-up?
- Salford, M5. It is her home, so the exact address is shared privately once your order is confirmed. Not on the website, not on Instagram.
- How much notice does she need?
- Everything is made fresh to order, so booking ahead is recommended, especially for the Family and Party platters. Same-week weekend slots do fill up.
- Is it halal?
- Yes. Everything Megumi makes is halal.
- I have an allergy.
- Tell her in your order message. The menu tags show fish, shellfish, chicken and nuts from the ingredient lists, but she can tell you about everything else and adapt a roll for you.
- Can I change my mind?
- Message her. Nothing is made until close to your pick-up time.
- How do I pay?
- Megumi confirms payment when she replies to your order.
